The company has officially signed the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), further solidifying its dedication to advancing gender equality.
The Women’s Empowerment Principles consist of seven key commitments: High-Level Corporate Leadership; Treating All Women and Men Fairly at Work without Discrimination; Ensuring Employee Health, Well-Being, and Safety; Promoting Education and Training for Career Advancement; Supporting Enterprise Development, Supply Chain, and Marketing Practices; Championing Community Initiatives and Advocacy; and Prioritizing Measurement and Reporting.
Marc Puig, Chairman and CEO, said: "At Puig, we firmly believe that empowering women is essential for innovation and growth. Our firsthand experience has shown us the invaluable contributions women bring to our workforce and leadership roles, enriching our company with their unique perspectives and diverse experiences. We think that women play a key role in society and understand the importance of recognition and reward in enabling women to excel, lead, and inspire others to follow suit, and we’re very proud of the culture we have created at Puig. Our commitment to the WEPs will push us further. We look forward to playing our part in contributing to a more diverse and equitable future for the next generations."
With women making up over 70% of its workforce, Puig has long been dedicated to empowering women at every level of the organization and across all roles. Signing the WEPs reflects Puig’s ongoing mission to create an environment where women thrive in the workplace, marketplace, and community.
By joining the WEPs network, Puig stands alongside global organizations working to build inclusive and sustainable environments that unlock opportunities for all.
Puig remains committed to collaborating across all departments, business units, and markets to ensure an inclusive, safe, and productive workplace that aligns with the principles of the WEPs.
